A short peninsula walk with open sea views and a perfect sunset perspective.

St Peter’s Peninsula is one of Makarska’s simplest pleasures: a short green loop beside the harbour, with sea views, small coves and a lighthouse. Archaeological traces and the reconstructed church add depth without turning the walk into a formal sightseeing exercise.

Walk it near sunset, when the harbour and mountain pick up warmer light. It is also an easy first or final walk because it begins almost in the center of town.

A first chapter in Makarska

Few places show Makarska’s scale more clearly: harbour on one side, Adriatic on the other, Biokovo behind.
